About Beaded Weft Extensions
Beaded weft extensions are applied by using multiple silicone lined beads that are secured in rows to the hair creating a base structure, a “bridge” horizontally along the crown of the head. Then the wefts are strategically sewed into place using thread.
Beaded wefts are amazing because they do not use heat or glue, making them the safest method on your natural hair. Bex uses either hand-tied wefts or machine tied wefts. Both style of wefts are amazing, but each are better for one type of client vs another. Machine tied wefts are a little bulker as they have 3 wefts sewn together making one very thick and full weft. They are completely customizable and can be cut to fit the width of each guests head.
Hand-tied wefts are sewn together by hand at the factory, where machine tied wefts are manufactured and sewn by machines, making them more affordable. hand-tied wefts are the most concealable and perfect for guests with fine hair. Usually 2-3 rows are needed to create a seamless look.
Hand-tied wefts can be sewn in using 1, 2, or 3+ wefts per row. Cost, weft style, length, and amount of wefts will be discussed between you and Bex at the time of your consultation.
All new extension clients will need to book a consultation where price and your desired end result will be discussed. A 50% deposit of the total service cost will need to be made to move forward. The deposit will cover the cost of hair and the rest will be owed day of service.

In Salon Maintenance
Maintaining your extensions is easier than it seems. Mini move-ups are a fast and cost-effective way to keep your hair, and the extensions looking and feeling great. As your hair grows, the extensions will need to be moved up. A mini move up is where the beads are opened, natural shedding is removed, the beads are then slid up the new outgrowth, then secured. A mini move up takes around 30-40 minutes and costs $40 per row.
Mini move-ups need to be done between 3-6 weeks from initial install. They can be done twice, and then a full move up will need to be done.
A full move up is where the extension hair, beads, and thread are all removed. Any natural shedding is combed out and the extension hair is cleaned up, new beads are applied, and the hair is reinstalled with new thread.
A full move up takes 2-3 hours and costs $170 per row. A full move up must be done (if guests opt to NOT do mini move ups) every 6-8 weeks.

At Home Maintenance
At home, maintaining your extensions is very similar to taking care of your own hair.
Washing your hair with sulfate-free shampoo is important to keeping your beads and hair from drying out and slipping.
Extensions need to be brushed often, especially at point of attachment. this helps so your natural hair doesn’t matte up where the extensions are attached on the hair.
When sleeping the hair needs to be tied back with a low pony or a low braid to help with tangling.
Bex will send each guest a digital at home maintenance card with all the dos and don’ts of maintaining your new luxurious extensions.
